Under the KM-GBF initiative, 30% of India’s terrestrial areas, including forests and marine ecosystems, will be restored and protected, with the aim of bringing biodiversity loss close to zero by 2030.

In February 2024, the global investment management firm New Forests announced the Tropical Asia Forest Fund 2 (TAFF2), which will invest in conserving and restoring the Kuan Kreng Landscape (KKL). Boxes of goods will be transported via automated, driverless electric vehicles operating on belts running down the centers of highways.

Today’s next emissions-free cargo delivery innovation is the Yara Birkeland, the world’s first zero-emission container vessel, developed by Yara and Kongsberg of Norway.

Several universities surveyed by the non-profit organization Humane World for Animals have reported impressive efforts to offer sustainable vegan food options. The universities’ scorecards revealed excellent strategies for reducing their environmental food footprints.
