Economy forced me to become a vegetarian, but I finally started liking it. I am 100% vegetarian.
I’m a Chemical and Biomolecular Engineer. So what my research focuses around is trying to capture CO2 emissions out of the air, and converting those emissions downstream into food, and completely engineer the food, so that people can have the food they’re already eating, but it’s in a much healthier version. It doesn’t involve any animal cruelty and it’s better for the environment. If you’re thinking about adopting a plant-based diet, or a vegan diet, vegetarian, any variation of that, and you’re afraid that it could impact your performance negatively, don't. Don’t be afraid. It will absolutely support you, and probably even enhance your performance. I mean, hey, if I can pull a fire truck and a log truck on a vegan diet, I think you’re going to be okay.
There is no doubt that some plant food, such as oatmeal, is more economical than meat, and superior to it in regard to both mechanical and mental performance. Such food, moreover, taxes our digestive organs decidedly less, and, in making us more contented and sociable, produces an amount of good difficult to estimate.
I believe in the wholesome plant-based diet, containing all amino acids, which means protein; all forms of energy intake, which means simple sugars, even from fruits, complex sugars from slowly absorbed carbohydrates; and omega-3 fatty acids, which means those complex substances that help the functioning of our system. And today our scientific field already demonstrated rather clearly that the plant-based diet contains much more antioxidants, and a lot more fiber – those what we call phytonutrients – than let’s say the mixed, or meat dominated diets.
Love the animal-people, and you will be loved 100 times more in return. And the consequence is: Peace will come!
I personally feel like animals are just like us, they're just in a different form. I really feel like animals are definitely sentient beings.
The life of a cow is just as precious to the cow as our lives are to us.
I’m a passionate vegan, who aims to make the world a better place for all.
Since becoming vegan, I feel a deeper sense of compassion for animal-people. I’ve grown wiser in so many ways, and every day feels like a reminder that I’m connected to something greater – loved by God and Universes.
I’ll tell them to be vegan, meditate, and everything will get better. Health and beauty will change for good.
Go vegan in everything you do, not just food. Stop using animals for any purpose whatsoever. […] That’s the idea of veganism. It’s an ethical stance saying that animals are here with us, and we need them to thrive on this planet. So everyone of your generation should know that. You need the animals to be healthy and thriving on this planet for us to thrive as a species. So therefore, please don’t use animals for any purpose whatsoever.
If the world went vegan, we would increase the well-being of all lives, including farmed animals, wild species, and humans. The transition would spare 95 billion land animals and trillions of aquatic animals from exploitation, suffering, and violent death every single year.
I have been a vegetarian all my life. I believe in vegetarian food, and I have benefited by adhering to it all my life. As civilization advances, I trust vegetarian food will become more common.
